Caldwell READSis a countywide reading project for readers of all ages to embrace the joy of reading through fun programming activities, while linking the community through literature in a one book read.
Summer Schedule
Caldwell County Schools will operate on a four-day work week this summer for energy conservation. Our first four day week begins the week of June 16 and ends the week of August 11. Summer hours will be 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a 30 minute lunch, Monday through Thursday. All buildings will be closed on Fridays with some exceptions for various programs.

2008 Hall of Honor Inductees
The Hall of Honor inducted five new honorees in a ceremony Monday, April 7th, held at the First Baptist Church Family Care Center in Granite Falls.
