Book bag large enough to carry a library book and folders (no rollers/wheels on

book bags or novelty items clipped on book bag)

Bath size towel (no beach towels or pillows)

Zipper pouch (no boxes please) to hold pencils and crayons

Pack of 8 basic color crayons

Standard size pencil with eraser

4 glue sticks (no glue pens)

• One pack of pencils (#2) No lead pencils 
• 1 pack of individual soft erasers to fit on the end of pencils
• 2 boxes of crayons (16 count)  We can keep the second box to give them later in the year when their first box of caryons starts wearing out.
• Plastic pencil box
• A book bag - soft collapsible kinds are better in that they take less space and are easier to handle.  No rolling book bags (no novelty items clipped on the book bag)
• 2 glue sticks - not liquid glue
• 1 pair safety scissors - round tip (Caution: Scissors made entirely of plastic do not cut well and cause frustration.  Try to find a plastic pair with metal blades.  FISKAR scissors work best.
• 1 wide lined writing tablet (with dotted lines) and 1 small composition book (70 pages) 
• 1 plastic folder with pockets inside (Paper ones fall apart mid-year.) Wal-Mart $.88
