We are so very happy with how the school year ended up for 2009-2010.  I am VERY PROUD to report that we AGAIN made AYP in all categories and posted high growth!!!  This is indeed a team effort and one I am happy to be a part of!!!  THANK YOU to ALL STAFF, students, and parents for helping Lower Creek achieve this mark!!!

Our first year of gender classes in fifth grade was a huge success!!!  Seeing students happy and wanting to come to school and parents pleased with the change of attitude of their child was worth it all!!!!  Surveys and test scores show it was a success!  We are being noticed a lot with this program and look forward to another year of trying it.  In fact, Mr. Rogers and Mrs. Boggs have agreed to have larger classes to acomodate all the requests.

There will be a new traffic pattern for entering the school next year.  More details will be coming on that.  Do notice the NO PARKING signs at the top of the road in front of the school now!

We also have had a new face lift with new windows in over half the school.  I think you will agree that they look much better and will help with energy conservation.  Thank You Ed. Center!!!!  A couple more murals are being added too.

We look forward to a fun and productive year for 2010-2011!  Your PTA has recently met and developed many special programs and meetings for you.  PLEASE take time to join PTA and be part of the decisions made for Lower Creek, after all, it is your school!!!

I will see everyone very soon on the first day of school on Wednesday, August 25th!
