 | | Caldwell County School Crisis Plan | Caldwell County Crisis Plan is critical in providing educators a systematic plan of action for effectively responding to crises. Principals are primarily responsible for assigning and implementing the recommended actions needed.
All school personnel are prepared to handle emergencies that could affect the school population. Crises encompass many areas from server weather and fire to evacuation and medical emergencies.
The Countywide Crisis Plan is reviewed annually during staff development and all new employees orientation meetings. Updates are done annually as needed and distributed to all school personnel. Crisis drills are preformed during the year (on days that students are out) coordinating with local law enforcement and fire departments. |
