Diabetes Overview Training

This web-based training is designed to serve as the required basic overview of diabetes awareness training for employees and to meet the requirements of the NC State BOE Policy #04A107.

This module provides:

• basic understanding of diabetes
• skills for recognizing signs and symptoms of low and high blood sugar levels

Staff members involved in direct care will receive additional education provided by the school nurse.

A copy of the CCS Students with Special Health Care Needs Policy   is available in each school's main office and on our Caldwell County Schools website.

Complete the test at the end of this module then select "submit" button to receive your post-submission results.  Please print a copy of this page for your records and give a copy to your principal.
