October: Be Proactive!
The following poem was written by Mrs. Cindy Dale's 5th graders:
Being Proactive
| You don't talk back |
| Keep yourself on track |
| Be kind to others |
| Do as you're told |
| Respect others and go for the gold |
| Be a good friend |
| Pay attention to the end |
| You're in control of your actions |
| Make your own fun and do fractions |
| Keep yourself busy |
| Leaders aren't dizzy |
| Listen while others are talking |
| Even if someone is knocking |
| I respect you and you respect me |
| That is how it ought to be. |
