South Caldwell High School (test center code 240200) will be offering the ACT on June 9th test date beginning this school year. Although this information is not in the printed materials from the ACT, students should be able to find this information using the online test center search tool. UNCW Pre-Engineering Transfer Program: Students who are interested in engineering can complete the first two years of an engineering curriculum at UNCW and, upon transfer, complete an engineering degree at either East Carolina University, North Carolina A&T State University, North Carolina State University, or the University of North Carolina at Charlotte during the last two years. Stackable with other academic merit, performance or need based scholarships. Scholarships may be renewable for up to four years. Students who are admitted will automatically receive $1,000 dollars towards their Lees McRae education. UNC-Asheville 2+2 Engineering: Students interested in pursuing a career in engineering should consider UNC-Asheville and NC State's 2+2 program. Students who participate in this program will spend the first two years of college at UNC-Asheville and then transfer to NC State to complete their degree in engineering.
