Valmead Elementary, West Lenoir Elementary and Whitnel Elementary have been  awarded a Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) USDA grant.  The grant is administered by NC Department of Public Instruction and coordinated by Caldwell County Schools, Child Nutrition Services. It will allow us to provide your children with a fresh fruit or vegetable snack in the classroom at least three times a week.
