Congratulations to Granite Falls Middle and William Lenoir Middle for  being awarded Project Lead The Way ® Gateway to Technology School of Excellence recognition.  This award is presented middle or junior high schools which have successfully implemented the Gateway to Technology program in grades six through nine, and have demonstrated a commitment to the quality national standards of the program.

Both schools had a team of teachers, staff, students, parents and community members assess their school's implementation of the Gateway to Technology program.  This award is received as a result of each school's sound quality program.  Congratulations to Principals Brian Suddreth, and Dr. Pete Yount and PLTW Instructors Libby Huff and Beth Fox!

Congratulations to the following Instructors for completing the Instructor Certification Training Program for the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).  This also qualifies them to teach the Contren Curriculum which meets industry standards through NCCER.  Their students will have the opportunity to take industry assessments after each module and earn industry certifications.
