There are many reasons why reading is such a passion in my life. Primarily, reading is a basic premise for achieving success in school, regardless of grade level or subject area, and just as importantly, it is enjoyable and opens the door of imagination and creativity whenever you take the time to turn the pages. I encourage you to read and to read often---for learning, leisure and role modeling for your students and your children. Whether you delve into a resource manual, reread your favorite novel or just try a new bestseller, I would like to hear from you about what you're reading. Click on "What are you Reading" under Community and post your review, book title and author. Many of you have already responded with your favorites, and I've enjoyed your enthusiasm and also accepted several of your recommendations.
