The Caldwell County School System has purchased a new automated notification system, Blackboard Connect. Through telephone and email, we can now send messages to all students, parents, and staff in a matter of just a few minutes. If your telephone or email information has changed recently, please update this in our office so that we can get messages to you effectively. |
 Please remember that students should not arrive at school before 7:30 each morning. Doors will remain locked until the 7:30 bell when staff are available for proper supervision. Students should be picked up before 2:45 each afternoon. If you have a need for your children to be here before 7:30 or after 2:45 each day, please contact our Wrap Around director, Phyllis Crump, for information on child care here at school. |
Never park in the school bus lot, as this is not allowed by state regulations. Wrap Around parents should park in the front lot and pick up students in the gym or in their new classroom location. Again, do not park in the bus parking area. |
Please remember to follow our traffic pattern in the morning and in the afternoon when dropping off or picking up children. Always enter at Pump Station Road and follow in two lines through the parking lot to Coral Drive. At Coral Drive move single file around the curve to then form a double line in the upper parking lot t to pick up children in front of the benches on the sidewalk. Pull up as far as possible to the front of the line and the car in front of you to allow traffic to move off of Sawmills School Road. Please be mindful of other drivers and do not force them against the curbs along the new building. Try to be patient as we load students to ensure safety for all. If you need to see teachers, please park in a designated space. Do not conference with them while in traffic as we need to continually move to keep cars off of Sawmills School Road. It is necessary to exit around the circle where buses park so that we continue to move cars off of the main road.Thank you for abiding by our traffic pattern to try to safely and efficiently move cars through each day.
