West Caldwell High is located in Caldwell County and nestled in the foothills of North Carolina . We are a member of the Catawba Valley 3A/2A Athletic Conference and of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association.  Student enrollment is approximately 1050 students with 85 certified faculty.  West Caldwell High was named an " Exemplary High Growth High School " for the school years 2002-2004.  We became a " School of Distinction " for the 2004-2005 school year.  The teachers and administrators at West Caldwell High are committed to providing students with the kind of learning and instructional environment that will enable and equip students to achieve their educational goals.
