CES Meet & Greet for New Principal, Melissa J. Costin |

On August 10, 2010, CES PTO hosted a time for students and parents to meet the new principal in the gym. Several esteemed guests came including Dr. Helen Hall - Chair of the CCS School Board, Ms. Dottie Darsie - CCS School Board, Mr. Mike LaBrose - CCS School Board, Mr. Daryl Pennel - CCS School Board, Dr. Steve Stone - Superintendent of Caldwell County Schools, Stephen Martin - Former Principal of Collettsville School and the current Director of Elementary Education. Bob and Susan Greene of the Collettsville School PTO organized and hosted the event that welcomed over 200 people to the Collettsville campus. Mrs. Costin said she was touched and pleased by the number of dignitaries, staff, parents and students that turned out to show support. "I am very excited to be here at Collettsville school and I am looking forward to a phenomenal school year." she said.
