If your child will start kindergarten at Baton Elementary this fall and you did not attend screening on April 23, please call the school at 728-9531.
Children must be 5 years old by August 31st to enroll for the 2010-2011 school year. |

August 2010 Orientation
MONDAY, AUGUST 23
Kindergarten will have three small group sessions in their classrooms. Teachers will notify parents which session to attend.
Session #1: 9:00am-10:00am
Session #2: 10:30am-11:30am
Session #3: 2:00pm-3:00pm
Kindergarten parents will report to teachers' classrooms, not to the gym.
2nd Grade: 4:00pm-5:00pm Meet in the gym, then go to classrooms.
3rd Grade: 3:00pm-4:00pm Meet in the gym, then go to classrooms.
5th Grade: 5:00pm-6:00pm Meet in the gym, then go to classrooms.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 24
1st Grade: 4:00pm-5:00pm Meet in the gym, then go to classrooms.
4th Grade: 5:00pm-6:00pm Meet in the gym, then go to classrooms.
1st Day for Students: Wednesday, August 25

JULY 30, 2010 - COOKOUT & SLEEPOVER!!
All Baton's Summer Readers are invited to a cookout on Friday, July 30 @ 5:00pm.
Those interested in staying all night in the Media Center for a sleepover, please have your parents pick up a permission form in the media center on Wednesday. You must have a permission form to stay all night.
PARENTS: Children attending Sleepover must be picked up Saturday morning by 8:30am.
