Red Ribbon Week!
Baton School will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week during the week of October 27 - October 31. Red Ribbon Week educates individuals, families, and communities on the destructive effects of alcohol and other drugs. It encourages everyone to make healthy choices.
This year we have many activities planned for the students to honor Red Ribbon Week! We will have spirit days, classroom lessons, a Red Ribbon pledge, and a Red Ribbon Assembly where we will have public speakers like our D.A.R.E. office speaking on the importance of making healthy choices.
Monday, 10/27 - Wear RED to kick off Red Ribbon Week.
Tuesday, 10/28 - Students have the Superpowers to say "NO" to drugs. Students wear their favorite Superhero shirt!
Wednesday, 10/29 - Baton Elementary is Drug Free! - Students wear school spirit apparel!
Thursday, 10/30 - Throwback Thursday! Rock a retro look from a decade gone by!
Friday, 10/31 - Students say BOO to Drugs! Wear Halloween cosutmes.
