Kindergarten & Pre-K registration are open.
We welcome all children turning five years old on or before August 31, 2024, to register for kindergarten here. Once you submit the online enrollment application, the school will call to schedule a screening appointment.For new or returning preschool students, click here to register. Students must be at least three years old on or before August 31, 2024. This registers your child with Caldwell County Schools. It does not guarantee enrollment in a preschool classroom.

Kinderpalooza - March 16, 10-12 pm at the HUB!
Caldwell County Schools, in partnership with community agencies, such as Caldwell County Smart Start and Caldwell County Health Department, present the 1st Annual Kinderpalooza Caldwell.
This event is this Saturday, March 16, from 10:00 am to 12:00 p.m. at The Hudson Uptown Building (HUB). Kinderpalooza Caldwell welcomes incoming kindergarten students and their families! The event will feature family-focused activities and resources, including community resources for parents on kindergarten readiness, age-appropriate activities for our future students, and games for children. Let's get ready for a successful start in Kindergarten! -

Caldwell County Schools Preschool Jump Start Program
Caldwell County Schools is accepting applications for the 2024-2025 Preschool Jump Start Program, a half-day preschool program for 3, 4, and 5-year-olds, with priority given to 3-year-olds. This program is free to all 3-year-olds. The Jump Start Preschool Academy is located at Whitnel Elementary School. Classes are held Mondays and Wednesdays from 8-10 am or 11:30 am to 2 pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, classes are held from 8-10 am. Breakfast or lunch is included. Space is limited, so please apply soon!

The Parent Portal lets you access your student's attendance, grades, test scores, assignments, and more.

To view your student's test scores, go to Navigation and select State Test Reports. Your students' test results will be displayed. Please get in touch with your school's Data Manager if you are experiencing problems with your account.
The PowerSchool Parent Portal interface is user-friendly and gives parents/guardians access to multiple areas of information, such as grades, attendance, test results, grade history, and much more!Most importantly, update your contact information so we can contact you about your child's education! -

Community Education Grant Winners Announced
The Education Foundation Inc. of Caldwell County announced the recipients of its latest round of Community Education Grants, which are intended to foster innovation in educational projects. The Foundation allocated grant funds to six deserving initiatives within the learning environments of Davenport A+ School, Lower Creek Elementary, South Caldwell High School, Caldwell Applied Sciences Academy, Gamewell Elementary, and Kings Creek School.

As part of a strategic effort to enhance educational standards, Caldwell County Schools conducted a Professional Development Day on Friday, Feb. 23, marking the fifth of six dedicated days for school personnel this academic year. The focused day allowed teachers and staff to concentrate on refining their expertise and sharpening valuable teaching skills.
