Welcome to Hibriten's New Research/Writing Lab

My name is Sharon Robertson. I am the Tech for Hibriten's new Research and Writing Lab. I have been at Hibriten for nineteen (19) years. I organized Hibriten's first Computer Lab in August 1988. Hibriten has used several computer programs since that time. They consist of CCC from California and Passkey from McGraw-Hill Company, NovaNet and two on-line programs: iSchool and Virtual High School. The new Research and Writing Lab has thirty (30) computers in a very spacious room with a comfortable work and reading area. This has been a dream of HHS teachers for over ten (10) years. Students can work on Senior projects, research from Internet, type papers on Microsoft Office XP Word, create Power Point Presentations; or create newsletters, newspapers, special projects on Microsoft Publisher. The Lab is accomodating at least four classes a day - five days a week.
