Hello! Welcome to our website and our classroom. My name is Kelly Bryant. I teach Business & Personal Law, Business Management & Applications, and Digital Communications Systems. I am a Hibriten High School alumni and a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne College with a bachelor's degree in Business Education. I presently serve as an advisor to the Future Business Leaders of America and a Co-Chair for senior class advisory. I am married to Jonathan Bryant, an ETS/TRIO counselor at Caldwell Community College. We have a daughter, Hannah, who is in middle school and a son, Walker, who is in elementary school. I am entering my fifteenth year of teaching at Hibriten. I love the teaching profession and I love Hibriten High School. It is the BEST!!! Parents and students are encouraged to visit on a regular basis to stay informed of classroom activities. I look forward to the 2009-10 school year. My philosophy of education is simple. I believe that all students can and should learn. An effective teacher should be a facilitator, not a dictator, of learning. I firmly believe in a hands-on, interactive approach to teaching and learning. I try to incorporate that approach as much as possible into our lesson plans for class.
