 Mrs. Tucker's Music Notes Students attend music classes on a 6 day rotation, for 40 minutes of music instruction. Students study the musical elements of melody, harmony, rthythm, timbre, form,style,and expression, using singing, movement, listening, and instrumental playing activities. Mrs. Tucker designs her music lessons using the National Standards for music instruction, as well as the NC Course of Study Standards. The music series that students use is the state adopted text, "Spotlight on Music," by MacMillan Publishers. |
